GARMIN G5 STACK. In modern certified aircraft, panel space is precious, and reliability is non-negotiable.
The Garmin G5 system has become the go-to choice for owners who want to retire aging gyro instruments and
replace them with solid-state, digital reliability—without tearing the entire panel apart. Presented here is
a Garmin G5 Stack PFD/HSI Package, a complete dual-instrument solution designed specifically f
or certified aircraft, equipped with interface modules, backup batteries, and key accessories for a clean, integrated installation.

For additional sensor/interface capability
This is not a partial upgrade—it is a thoughtfully assembled stacked G5 solution, ideal for replacing legacy
vacuum-driven instruments and bringing modern glass capability into a certified cockpit.
The Primary G5 serves as the Attitude Indicator, offering pitch, roll, airspeed tape, altitude tape, vertical speed, and more
when configured appropriately in a full installation.
The clarity of its display, the smooth
presentation, and the inherent stability of solid-state sensors provide a level of confidence far beyond aging gyros.
No more spinning masses, no more precession, no more vacuum system dependencies—just reliable, digital flight data.
GARMIN G5 STACK
The second G5 operates as an HSI / Heading Indicator, displaying course guidance, heading, and navigation information
when paired with the GMU 11 magnetometer and external GPS/NAV sources. With the addition of the GAD 29B,
this system can interface with modern navigators, bringing GPS and nav data directly into the G5 display and, where supported,
provide inputs to compatible autopilots. The result is a compact but powerful glass solution that modernizes the
cockpit without requiring a full-panel overhaul.
The Lightning Protection Module (LPM) adds another layer of security, protecting the system from electrical transients
and contributing to long-term reliability. The dual backup batteries ensure that, even in the event of an electrical
system failure, the G5 units can continue to provide critical attitude and heading information—an invaluable
feature for IFR operations and enhanced safety.
The inclusion of STC Permission Letters is particularly important for certified aircraft owners.
These letters support the legal installation of the G5 units under Garmin’s STC, simplifying the paperwork and
installation approval process. Combined with the install kits, adapter plates, and included accessories,
this package is structured to help avionics shops and owners move smoothly from planning to completed installation.
For operators upgrading from steam gauges, this G5 stack represents a major leap forward in reliability, situational
awareness, and safety. It replaces multiple legacy instruments with a unified, digital, redundant
system—backed by modern Garmin engineering and thoughtful integration components.
A complete dual-G5 stack.
A full interface and sensor package.
A certified-aircraft-ready solution—prepared to bring modern glass capability to its next panel.
